Mission Statement

Career Path, Inc. and Career Path Temporaries will provide the most excellent customer service and strive to create a positive business environment for all client companies and candidates.

Career Path, Inc. opened its doors on April 4, 1980, in Midland, Texas as an oil and gas permanent placement service.

In 1983, the Temporary Division was born from client company needs. Career Path has grown and offers many value added services such as on-site recruiting and/or consulting services. We can work at your office or ours matching appropriate job skills, reviewing resumes and setting up interviews for qualified candidates We customize programs to meet the customer’s needs. We become partners with clients to enhance their human resources capabilities. Clients ask for quotes on special projects and we go to work to meet those expectations using our years of experience and expertise in the hiring and placement process.

We also manage the School Crossing Guard Project for the City of Midland. Many senior citizens take advantage of this project because it enables them to work a few hours a day or even substitute several times a week. It offers the flexibility that many retired people enjoy. College students and stay-at-home moms also are drawn to the short work schedule. They will all tell you that the biggest benefit of all is making a difference in a child’s life as so many of them do.

Education is a key element for
The Career Path Staff.

We have a Certified Personnel Consultant, Certified Temporary Staffing Specialist and Certified Crossing Guard trainer. As you can tell, certifications and education are important at Career Path. All consultants are required to adhere to the industry Code of Ethical Practices and Employment Law. We don't "just belong" to our trade associations. We are active participant. We are members of the Texas Association of Personnel Consultants and the local Permian Basin Association of Personnel Consultants. Our President has served on the State Board, chaired the State Education Committee and was selected as the first CTS of the Year for the State of Texas. She has held every office, including twice as President, at the local level. We are active in the community and support numerous charities. We are locally owned and operated.

Midland is our home and we are proud to be a part of it. We've brought many "new hires" to the Permian Basin and now they call it home. We owe our entire success to the clients, friends and family who continue to believe in our excellent service strategy that has brought us through the past 30 years here.

I retired about a year ago with some minor health issues, and I tried several other part time jobs.

When we need a position filled, we can't just run a newspaper ad., because we usually need a special person with specific qualifications and experience.

Then I contacted CAREER PATH TEMPORARIES and found out about being a crossing guard. With my income from working as a Guard 20 hours a week and my supplemental income, I'm doing fine. It's 4 hours a day Monday through Friday, and there's no stress or strain, which pleases my physician. I love being around the kids, and trying to make a difference in their lives. I think they like me too.. I would recommend this position to anyone.

That's where CAREER PATH INC. comes in. We contact them, and they do the rest. They discreetly find people who may not be actively searching for a job, but who possess any and all qualifications we request, from Clerical to Comptroller. Thanks to the experienced staff at Career Path, Inc. we don't have to spend our valuable time going through resumes and interviews with unqualified people. They only present the most qualified candidates with excellent backgrounds in the areas of expertise that our company needs.
